Kea are endemic parrots, and the only true mountain parrot in the world. They are found in the South Island of New Zealand. They're well known for their inquisitive and troublesome behaviour. They nest in deeps burrows under trees and rocks, making them easy prey for possums and stoats.
This Kea is on a snow topped mountain, with tones of grey and olive green.
